The Civic Weave:

This project reimagines the library as more than a place of learning. The Civic Weave becomes a civic connector that brings people together through community, culture and shared experience. Designed to restore identity and activity back into the site, the proposal creates an inclusive destination where generations, families, students and local residents can connect, interact and belong. The building acts as a catalyst for social engagement, strengthening relationships between people and place whilst creating a lasting sense of community within the city.
