Master of Architecture

Antoinette McKernan

Located within a retained industrial site in Naples, the project establishes an architectural framework centred on producing, making, serving, and showcasing. Existing masonry structures are adapted to accommodate cultivation, preparation, communal dining, and exhibition, allowing production to become both functional and performative. Through the preservation of the industrial fabric and the insertion of contemporary interventions, the proposal creates a layered spatial experience that reconnects the public with cycles of craft and consumption, transforming the former industrial complex into a civic landscape rooted in heritage, materiality, and collective exchange.
