LOGLINE
Rio, a determined athlete living with cerebral palsy, defies expectations and overcomes his physical challenges to pursue his passion for sport. He proves that dedication and support from family and the sporting community can help him overcome any challenges in his way.

SYNOPSIS
This documentary follows Rio Boothe, a boy with cerebral palsy who discovered his love for athletics whilst at university. Through interviews with Rio, he discusses how challenging his condition can be in his day-to-day life, but also how athletics has allowed him to push his limits and build his confidence allowing him to see what he is really capable of. The film will show Rio at his training sessions and interacting with the sporting community, who have now become his family, Rio will also be shown doing his inspirational speaking, which he does as much as possible to raise awareness about cerebral palsy in babies, but also how it doesn’t have to be a life limiting condition. The film will highlight moments of personal struggle and success, exploring Rio’s determination to overcome barriers and inspire others.
