imiita examines parody, authorship, and artistic identity through the performance of the ultimate pop-duo. By the release of parodic songs, media, and merchandise inspired by graphics and humour of the current internet era, the duo continuously enforce their existence in today’s pop-culture sphere and assume language synonymous to contemporary internet culture, questioning the absurdist nature of identity that social media constructs. imiita's success will culminate in the Liverpool School of Art & Creative Industries Degree Show 2026, in which the duo will host an exhibition titled ‘WE JUST WON FOUR GRAMMYS!!!!’, dedicated to their legacy as Grammy-award winning musicians and the recent release of their debut album.
